Josh LOVES dogs. He has several stuffed doggies. His all time favorite is a little beagle-like doggy we got for $5 at Wal-Mart. And just like the frog from the same company we got Jake when he was a baby...this seems to be a one and only. We never found another to have as a back up. So needless to say it is very stressful whenever this puppy named Oof comes anywhere with us. Oof was supposed to be a temporary replacement for the stuffed gold retriever we left at a hotel in Flagstaff on our way to visit Papa in Albuquerque. Ikea, the golden retriever we bought at an Ikea, was picked up on our way home. Funny story: when I called the hotel and asked if Ikea was found the person at the desk informed me that the hotel did not allow pets. After some convincing that it was in fact a stuffed toy he call housekeeping and was told it was found.
So anyway....Oof became more of a permanent replacement for Ikea. And soon after Oceanside was brought into this puppy family. You will never guess where we found Oceanside the slightly larger than Oof beagle. Josh is not very imaginative with his puppy names!
Oceanside and Oof go everywhere with us...and he carries them all over the house...and they are always ready to keep Josh cozy at bedtime. His latest activity with his puppies is to put on a "Puppy Show". He gathers up Oof, Oceanside and his newest one named Labadoodle (yep...it is a labradoodle we found on a recent trip to visit Papa that could have easily been named Santa Fe) and puts on a silly show.
It ends with puppy kisses....
