Pam's Post:
The search for a better stroller. A search we have been on more than once. I think we found the perfect one for our needs....finally (only took three kids).
With the crazy wind out here and the blazing sun, we really needed a stroller that could be flipped so that Josh could face us or not depending.
We got one that does just that last night at BabiesRUs. Tested it out last night too. Josh seemed to enjoy it.
It is kind of bulky...but fits with no problem in our car. And Perry says it drives like a Cadillac. We took it out for a real test run today.
Since the weather was screaming for a picnic, we did just that at Springs Preserve. Of course we pick the day they have some crazy Mother/Daughter Wear a Big Hat event and a wedding. So we had to find a new place to eat our picnic. Benches in the shade worked just fine.
Joey had me take pictures of flowers. Ever since the Bellagio, we are both obsessed with them.
Rare picture of BOTH boys....and they are standing still AND looking in the same direction!!!
Joey checks out the cute little house.
Silly Daddy tries to feed a deer.
Over in the section with the lizards they have a big stone ball that spins with the water (if that makes sense). Josh was rather intrigued with it.
Cutie Pie!
Perry tried to spin the boys on this big circle thing. It doesn't really go fast.
Here is Joey cooling off in the mister. Jake stood away from it and waited for it to get to him (a little chicken).
Josh DID NOT like it.
Jake and Josh check out our little lizard friend.
We had a great time. It is always nice to let the boys loose. But we did learn an important lesson...DO NOT tell Jake we are going UNTIL we are ready to go. He was screaming all morning, "Please can we go".
