As part of his On the Farm lesson for Science, Jake and I built a farm. We had a barn, silo, animals, corn field, apple orchard, farmer (which Jake colored green...must be a relative of the Jolly Green Giant), little crop of cotton (thanks to some snipped q-tips) and a truck ( courtesy of Joey). You have never seen a child more excited than Jake scooping dirt into a shallow box. He was in Heaven.
