Project Kitchen Redo

It is getting there.  Piece by piece.....Our kitchen is getting a makeover.  We started out with this kitchen:

Linoleum flooring, kitchen island you could not sit at and oven that was never accurate.
So far we have had laminate flooring installed (oh...do I love it and now we want to do the whole upstairs), demolished that stupid island and replaced it with a much more functional one from IKEA and replaced the oven with an awesome new one that actually heats to the temperature you want.

Next comes doing over the cabinets in a darker brown, changing out the pendant lights and taking down the blinds (thinking some cute curtains).  We just ordered those same bar stools in black (one is cracked on top anyway).  Can't believe the difference.  So loving it.
