Josh's First Haircut {June 12, 2011}

Today we all walked down to the local Great Clips to get the boys haircuts. Joey and Jake are pros at haircuts...but this was going to be Josh's first one. We went prepared with buses, sippy cup and pacifier.
It is time to say goodbye to the mullet. I was a little sad because when Josh's hair is freshly washed or when he gets up from a long nap, his hair has all these boing boing curls in the back. We had to do this though...or change his name to Billy Ray.



Here he is happy and so unaware of what is coming, armed with all his distractions.

The tears started as soon as David (the guy that always cuts all our hair) put a cape on him. Thankfully stuffing the pacifier in his mouth calmed him down. I was so hoping for paci-free pics but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

He was pretty still and quiet from this point on...until we had to turn him around to get the back.

This is where the pacifier fell...and bounced all over the hair covered floor. So until I was able to clean it off, he went back to crying.

Look at those tears! Such a mean Mommy making him get a haircut. You can see Jake in the mirror. He has Joe sitting in another chair, and he is being the haircut guy.

All done. Looks so cute. So I thought why not get a picture without the pacifier.

We let him loose when we got back to our "house village". He was happy again because not only did he have a red lollipop, but he was free to walk on his own. He looks like such a little boy!!!! What happened to my baby! sob....sob....
